Getting Help

Integration

  • In this lesson we are going to learn how to install GoSign 2.0 into your own solution. This should take you about 15 minutes.

    1. You copy the Scripts over to your file.
    2. You make a couple of simple changes to 3 of those script to hook GoSign into you File.
    3. You will probably create a field and a couple of layouts as part of that process.
    4. Then finally you copy Layout Objects that make up the signature capture and display pads.

    Follow the steps below.

Modifying the Style of the Signature Capture and Signature Display

Other Topics

  • You can print or email signatures. The signatures do NOT need to be converted to images first. This lesson will show you how.

  • In this lesson we are going to cover converting the captured signature data to a regular graphic file. The file will be a PNG. You can store it any Filemaker container field.

  • The way the PDFs get emailed is a little wonky if you do it the usual way. The user sees the Print Layout. That is probably not what you want. This lession looks at an example from the GoSign file that improves the expearience.

  • In the interest of simplicity we have just two license types; a Site License and Distribution License.
    Site License
A site license gives you the rights to use the product at one location, or company. You can use it as many time as you want, in as many solutions as you want. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute any solutions that use the product. If you are a developer, doing custom FileMaker work for you multiple clients, you will need to purchase a site license for every client who uses the product in your custom solutions. Of course you client can purchase the license as well, and in fact this is the preferred method.
    Distribution License
A Distribution license gives you the rights to use the product in an single solution that you sell to multiple customers. This works really well for vertical market solutions. This license does not give your customers the rights to re-distribute the solution to other end-users or developers.
